Materia medica features an antique, monogrammed sterling silver pill case, with a small mirror in its lid and space for an assortment of small pills. Mom picked it up at an antique show a few weeks ago. It’s hung with two of my favorite chains – the 3mm rolo and the Tiffany style chain (both in sterling silver). In fact, its a necklace full of my favorite bits: it has two beautiful dyed quartz, four apatite rondelles and four amethyst rondelles. The approximate length is 18″ – it fastens with a lobster claw at the nape of the neck. Not sure yet if this is destined for the shop as mom fancies it :)
