This is a steampunk inspired piece featuring a miniature mixed media assemblage sealed into a sterling silver ring blank using resin. I picked the ring blank up at a show recently and am really wishing I’d kept the dealer’s business card since this was pretty fun to make.
You can sort of see how glassy the [...]
Paris 1904 (project #5)
Winged Trilobite necklace (project #4)
Well technically, project 4 is the two handcut gears, in sterling and dix gold, and I supposed the completed necklace design. :) All components sterling, with a Russian amber bead (on a ~18″ sterling chain).
Curiouser and Curiouser (project #3)
Hand cut, hand stamped sterling silver. Getting much better at striking the letters, and had fun doing a slightly whimsical letter placement :) Size 8. Also, discovered SUPERMACRO on my camera! YAY!!
Totoros!
No, this is not part of my 24 projects/24 days challenge (though I DID do projects for Friday to Sunday, just no pictures just yet!).

Winged trilobite pendant (project #2)
Hand cut, shaped and polished 20 gauge sterling silver, roughly 2.25″ from wing tip to wing tip. This will be part of a larger project. :)

Lets start off with these [...]

What happens when your torch is too hot! *pout*
Made this with my new torch head - pendant was melting in under 8 seconds. Its an interesting effect in a way, but too unpredictable. Guess I’ll have to try a different torch head.
Rainbow bracelet no3
Yet another rainbow bracelet, this one with some of my new treasures from this past weekend’s Gem and Mineral Show. :)
Sterling silver with 23 beads on hand-made head pins, approx. 7.5″ long. Two kinds of amethyst, fresh water pearl, Swarovski crystal, lapis lazuli, assorted glass, turquoise, serpentine, citrine, cracked glass, shell, carnelian, fire agate, red [...]
