Gift for the man

January 14th, 2010

So here’s my pride and joy – the gift I made for my guy for Christmas. This took no less than 14 hours to do, and even then I was rushing it by the end (hehe yes I know, I double struck a few of the letters, but I still think its a cute effect!) [...]

I made these as Christmas gifts for Erika last year, but never got photos before they were packed away for the year.  They’re ornaments made from 3″ watchmaker’s tins. The little presents and teddy bear I made with sculpy.

She Sells Sea Shells

January 11th, 2010

This was made for a previous jewelry sale and somehow never made it on to my website. It’s a water themed bracelet featuring sterling silver seashell charms and beads, Swarovski crystals, fresh water pearls, semi-precious stones, and glass beads. It is constructed on a base of Tiffany-style sterling silver chain and fastens with a sterling [...]

a sassy announcement: new shop!

January 11th, 2010

Thanks to the efforts of the lovely Pookzilla, A Sassy Conspiracy now has its very own online store! You can access it on the top menu under Sassy Shop. You’ll have to bear with me while I get all the little details sorted out and populate the shop, but I’m pretty excited with how its [...]

More Christmas projects

January 11th, 2010

Some personalized jewelry for my guy’s parents. The ring for his dad has all four of their names on it (stamped after the ring was forged). I brushed the ring a bit with steel wool to keep it more “manly” looking, and I think it turned out pretty nice. The necklace for his mom has [...]

There, now that I’m all caught up on the jewelry sale stuff, I can start showing off some of the Christmas crafts :) This will be ongoing throughout the month since we only celebrate with our friends at the end of January. I made this for mom – I’ve dubbed it the Caribbean Princess (a [...]

Silent Film Star

January 7th, 2010

This is the very last of the jewelry sale projects :) Lots of luxurious heavy sterling silver chain with two ornate silver disks and an assortment of black and grey toned beads, including Swarovski pearls, Swarovski crystals, glass, smoky quartz and onyx.

A Fool’s Game

January 7th, 2010

This is probably the longest necklace I’ve ever made. Approximately 4.5 feet in length, its made of sterling silver chain composed of large rings, with nine large iron pyrite (fool’s gold) beads. Fastens with a toggle clasp so it can be looped 2-3 times (or worn as a belt, as the person who purchased it [...]

White Cap

January 7th, 2010

This is one of the larger pieces I made for the show. I used a bunch of heavy sterling silver chains, rhodium-plated Swarovski crystal chain, opalite, labradorite, two ornate silver disks and a beautifully faceted smoky quartz focal piece. The necklace fastens in the front with a toggle clasp. Want to own it?
