Illamasqua Stance and Deborah Lippmann Boom Boom Pow
This is from a few weeks back: two coats Illamasqua Stance and one coat Deborah Lippmann Boom Boom Pow. Stance is my first (and only) Illamasqua polish – our local Sephora carries a very limited collection of around 10 shades or so, and while I love the formula, none of the other shades are terribly unique to my collection. That doesn’t stop me from checking in every other week or so in hopes of a seasonal release! Normally a vibrant fuchsia, it took on a bit of an orange cast when layered with Boom Boom Pow.
BBP is one of the first polishes I purchased when I got the polish bug last year, and is still one of my favorite layering polishes. At the upper end of the Lippmann price range (along with Today is a Fairytale), this beauty contains 24K gold, as well as various sizes of gold hexes. It looks stunning over almost any colour, and is equally lovely over naked nails. The Lippmann collection has a lot of stunners but this one I always recommend to people looking to try out the brand given its versatility and blingyness :)
