It’s that time of year again, and oh, how I love to dress up! This year’s costumes: my favorite comic book badass and her mutant kangaroo boyfriend, Tank Girl and Booga! Rounding out our Tank party is Sub Girl (Erika) and an alternate, missile-endowed Tank Girl (Nicenfroosh). The costumes mostly involved a bunch of painting (bats, helmets, shirts and faces), a little sewing for his tail and ears, and a few awesome finds from the army surplus store. Side note: turns out all this time I CAN SEW, I’ve just been threading my machine all wrong *face-palm*. I’m embarrassed by how many years it took me to read the machine manual and figure that out. My favorite item is Booga’s monkey hat, makes me think of Gorillaz. Love my helmet too, but my forehead is still sore two days later from the weight of it, lol.
