Scooter family
This is 11×15″, acrylics and ink on illustration board. I scanned it using our photocopier at work, so the colours are a bit wonky, despite my best efforts, and it also makes the colour gradients blocky. I would like to print a few nice copies of it, which got me to thinking – people who sell prints of their artwork, what sort of scanner do they use? What kind of paper do they print on, and where do they have them printed? I’m not really interested in investing in any equipment, given how little I would use it, but I wonder where I could go to have this done.
Also, how great would it be to have a sidecar. I wonder if its even possible to find one for our scooter. It might be better suited to on of our more powerful scooters/bikes (like the Triumph Tigress (whenever we get that finished), or the Honda CB350 we’re working on), but it would be so adorable on the Lambretta. Maybe some day :)
I wonder how old a child would have to be to ride in one anyway – do they even make tiny helmets??
Happy Birthday hubby! <3
